The Falvey Family

I am excited to share this fun Las Vegas urban family session. This session is the second I’ve had the pleasure of documenting for this family. I am always so honored when families return to me. I love that I get to see how much they’ve changed and grown as a family. However, this one was a bittersweet as this military family was preparing for dad to be overseas and an upcoming change in duty stations. This mama wanted another location that showcased their time here in Las Vegas and chose an urban setting in downtown Las Vegas. She consulted with me on outfits, and I love how beautifully her choices pulled together and worked so well in this setting.

Courtney had shared with me that her goal for this urban session was showing their genuine love and connection as a family and images that would help dad during his deployment remember their love and joy.

One of mom’s other requests was some images of just her and her husband together. Preparing for extended time away, she wanted these images to hold and cherish.

Outfit choices are often one of the biggest obstacles for moms preparing for their family session, and I totally get it! I recommend moms choose their outfits first and then build the rest of the family around that. Choosing something that you’re comfortable in is important. I really do love long dresses on moms because they add such beauty and grace to sessions and such beautiful movement. I think Courtney’s choices demonstrate that so beautifully!
