In early late November and early December of this past year, I was fortunate enough to travel to Southeast Asia with friends. This was a trip purely for fun, and I enjoyed every bit of it! I have traveled with this friend often and we do make great travel partners and she is so fun and easy to travel with.
Our first stop was Cambodia where we met with other good friends of ours to explore Angkor Wat and run the Angkor Wat Half Marathon and 10K. My friends had been to Cambodia before, but this was my first time visiting and I was literally blown away. It exceeded every expectation!
Our next stop was Luang Prabang, Laos. I was so surprised by how much I loved this quaint town. As a former French colony, it still had much of the same French colonial architecture and a small town vibe to it, which made walking it’s streets and exploring it’s community so fun!
We then traveled to southern Lao and visited the city of Vientiane. It was a busier and more business type city, but interesting none-the-less.
Our last leg was Bangkok and it was the perfect way to end the trip! I have traveled through Bangkok many times but have never taken the time to explore the city. It was so interesting and fun!
